There are often extra aches and pains during when the weather is cold. Why is this? Much of it has to do with barometric pressure. The weight of the air can trigger some of the joint pain and even cause headaches. It doesn’t matter how old you are – it’s possible to suffer from the aches and pains at any age.

If you have ever heard someone say that they could “feel” a storm coming, they were probably right.

Arthritis is a common problem in many people. Even when someone hasn’t been diagnosed with arthritis (yet) they are going to start to feel some aches and pains in the cold. You will feel it more in the colder weather than any other time and that’s because there’s more pressure in the air.
