Dr. Nick Brock

Thousand Oaks, California Chiropractor — CBP Trained

I’m Dr. Nick Brock. I founded — and still personally run — Advanced Chiropractic Rehabilitation here in Thousand Oaks because I wanted a practice built around the way I was trained: structural correction, not just symptom management.

Most chiropractors will pop your back, ease the immediate pain, and send you on your way. That works in the short term. It is not what produces lasting change. The patients I see most have already tried that route — sometimes for years — and the pain keeps returning. They come to me because something deeper is going on with how the spine is built and how it loads under everyday life in the Conejo Valley: the desk work, the commute, the weekend athlete’s overuse.

My job is to measure that, correct what can be corrected, and hand you a written plan with a measurable end. I don’t sell open-ended “wellness” packages. I’d genuinely rather you graduate from care than stay forever.

My Approach

Every patient starts with measurement. Digital posture analysis. Range-of-motion testing. Reflex and orthopedic exam. X-rays when they’re warranted. We don’t guess at what’s wrong — we measure it, then re-measure as your care progresses, so you can actually see whether it’s working.

I’m CBP Trained. Chiropractic BioPhysics is the most peer-reviewed technique in chiropractic, and it treats your spine as a structural unit. The corrective tools — specific adjustments, mirror-image traction, and Denneroll spine-remodeling — are precise and dose-able. I can show you the curve we’re working to restore and the load that’s driving your pain. Then we work the plan together.

I keep the patient panel small on purpose. Many chiropractic offices run on volume — 60-plus patients a day, five to ten minutes each. I run a different model: longer visits, fewer patients per day, and real time spent on diagnostics and progress reviews. The honest trade-off is that my schedule is tighter than a high-volume office — we’re open Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:00–5:30, Tuesday afternoons, and closed Friday through Sunday. If those hours work for you, you’ll get far more time and attention than is typical in this field.

I won’t treat outside my scope. Chiropractic care is for neuromusculoskeletal problems — pain and dysfunction of the spine, joints, muscles, nerves, and posture. That is what I treat, and I’ll be the first to refer you to a medical specialist if I see something conservative care shouldn’t handle alone.

Your solution to pain.
